Adding fog lights to an S model

Postby 08PathPounder » Sat Dec 03, 2016 5:13 pm

So as the title states I would like to add fog lights to my 08 S pathy.
I have two options for doing so that I am aware of..

1) I could run a set of led light pods in the stock bumper locations to a switch in the dash that I would put in a blank switch bank.

2)An even cleaner way to do this from what I have read, was to use an already exsisting fog light harness that (supposedly is taped up in the bumper somewhere) came from the factory, and then switching out the headlight stick on the steering colum for one that has the fog light option.

Has any one done either of these before? If so got any tips or part numbers?

Thanks to all in advanced

If you have a auto headlamps, you'll need:

Airtex/Wells #1S11946

If you don't have auto headlamps, you'll need:

Airtex/Wells #1S11960

If you want the OE halogen style lamps, you can get them from Rockauto for $18 each. They come with the housing:

Dorman #923829 and 923833

Since it's pre-wired with the body control module, I would go with replacing the headlamp switch and using the factory harness. It's a lot easier than running new wiring and it looks a lot cleaner.

I bought the OEM kit off eBay that included the two halogen lights and the new combi switch. Made for a clean install on my 2012 S.
