Steering geometry while reversing with a trailer connected

Postby NorVanRon » Sun Dec 04, 2016 9:03 pm

I have a 2012 LE with 33.,000kms now. What a gas hog it is at 17 liters per 100 kms. Anyway, I find it is tricky to back a trailer up without all kinds of steering manouvers. Is there some steering geometry idiocynchrosies in play here? I have a 6 x 8.5 utility trailer and a 24 foot tandem wheeled boat trailer. They both are a pain when backing up. I had a 1995 Pathfinder before and the transmission failed. Then I bought a new 2001 Pathfinder and later that transmission failed. What's up with that? Am I a masochist? Later, NorVanRon.
