Photo of OEM installed backup camera?

Postby TNhunter » Sun Dec 31, 2017 11:59 am

The new stereo I bought came with a Pioneer backup camera. I'm wanting to mount it where the ones from the factory are mounted. Can someone post some photos of a factory installed backup camera on their R51?

I hope this was helpful.
Please let me know if you need any different angles or close ups.
I will be on a trip next 36 hours though so next chance is Sunday :)

I finally mounted my backup camera today. I mounted it right in the middle just below (and slightly to the left) of the tailgate unlock button. I drilled 3 small holes for the bracket, and one 3/8" hole to run the wire through the tailgate. I used a small rubber grommet to line that hole. Overall I'm happy with the install.

BTW - I tapped into the reverse wire in the wiring harness right by the drivers seat in the wiring harness under the door threshold. For my 2012 Pathfinder it was the SKYBLUE wire. There were a couple of other blue (royal blue) wires in the bundle but the reverse light is the light blue wire.
