1998 Pathfinder transmission problem

Hello all. My buddy has a '98 2wd Pathfinder with the auto trans. He was having some issues with the trans shifting oddly and the CEL was lit. We pulled the codes and they indicated problems with the revolution sensor and the range sensor. He replaced both and now the truck won't move at all. The linkage is hooked up correctly and the PRND indicators work when he moves the shifter, but trans won't engage at all in any gear.

Any ideas on what might be causing this? I had him reconnect the old sensors to see if the truck would move then but nothing happened. It starts fine but that's it.

I'm having him check the connectors and pins again to be sure he didn't bend or break any.
