So, my son has a 2008 Frontier V6 / automatic...he takes it to a car wash at lunch and when he comes out, his truck wont start....tries it about 5 times and it finally starts

have to assume some wiring, etc got wet, but dried out?

Is he washing the engine down? Or, maybe an undercarriage washing? I think I remember something about water getting into harness connectors just above the transmission and shorting the PNP switch circuit a long time ago on an R51? It was a couple of years ago and my memory isn't so good about it. I think the person was checking the connectors and found water in one of them. He dried out the harness connectors and packed them with dielectric grease and it cured the problem.
