Aiming fog lights?

Postby DanJetta » Mon Sep 25, 2017 8:55 am

Are the fog lights aimable? Had one replaced and asked them if they aimed it – the guy said the fog lights don't aim – they just mount. Seems odd to me.

The aim up and down, but not side to side. You have to get it from the back side of the fog lamp by moving the front of the wheel well liner out of the way. Here's a link with pics of the adjustment for a 2012 Frontier, which is the same:

So I installed fog lights myself, but do not recall a way to aim them. They are the original Nissan lights. Can you elaborate how to aim them down, cuz I get flashed quite often for blinding people. Thx

Sorry, I meant like how to physically move the lamp housing to position it. I've tried to just push it down but that didn't seem to change it.

Go to the second post of the thread. The link will have pics that show the adjustment on the back of the lamp.

Beautiful, thanks for the info! Aimed them and they're all set to go.
