U-joint failure on R51 Pathfinders is very common. The original joints are Spicer non-greasables, if you want the OEM part. You can get both Spicer and Moog U-joints with or without grease-fittings. As far as replacement, it is not different than replacing most any other vehicle's U-joints. Remove the driveshaft, remove the retaining rings and press out the old joints and reverse procedure to install. Nissan recommends replacing the driveshaft bolts and nuts, but most don't and I haven't heard of any incidents caused by not doing so. Perhaps if they are very rusty, it might be a good idea to replace them.
