Control Arm Questions

Postby LinusUAE » Sat Jun 23, 2018 6:10 am

Greetings,

I have a 2009 Pathfinder LE. Bought it used a few months ago. I am planning to upgrade the shocks to the Bilstein 4600 shocks I have been reading about on the board. Sounds like a good replacement for the factory shocks.

My question is about the control arms front and rear. I was told I need lower arms for both sides in the rear. Is this the correct part?

And, I need to replace the upper arms in the front. Are these the correct parts?

I'm trying to order the parts and have a mechanic install them for me. I live out of the country so I was going to order them and them in the US and then bring them back with me. A pain for sure, but it could save me a good bit assuming I get the correct parts.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Yes, those are the right parts; they are different part numbers, left and right side, of course. Don't forget you'll probably need bolts. I would get the control arms at Rockauto.com. The quality of the aftermarket arms is very good and most of the brands have a limited lifetime warranty. I usually go with Dorman brand but Mevotech and Moog brands are similar quality.
