Have had a problem with battery on my 2012 2.5 diesel Tekna for a very long time now. Battery goes flat if I don't start it every day. It was OK for the first 3 years from new, then the fault appeared and gradually got worse.
Have tried 3 different new batteries.
Voltage drop overnight = 0.4 volts. Have taken out every fuse in fuse box by passenger door but not located where the problem lies. Have taken it to local garage and to 2 auto electrical specialists who have all said they have no idea after I have paid them to take a look.
Have even taken my key fob 100 yards away as someone suggested in case it's trying to keep the computer awake.
I have a Thule tow bar fitted when the vehicle was new by main dealer. Otherwise just a standard vehicle.
Reluctant to go to main dealer (£89 per hour) as when I spoke to them on the phone they said they had never heard of such a fault.
All help very welcome. _________________ Now in my second childhood! |

You've posted in the wrong forum. The 2013's + are a very different vehicle. _________________ 2013 Pathfinder SL w/Premium in Brilliant Silver
