98 Pathfinder cam shaft sensor wires pulled out of sensor

The sensor ontop of bell housing the wires got ripped out of the plug when we dropped transmission cause it went all at once. What colors go where there is two wires and how do I wire them back into the plug thank you

It's actually the crank position sensor. If you go to WiringSpecialties.com, they may have a repair connector that is wired that would make it a lot easier. If not, you'll likely need to get new pin terminals and the correct pin tool to repair the connector, which were part of an expensive Kent-Moore kit that were force shipped to dealer. They may sell you the appropriate pin terminals and weather seals. Whether they will let you borrow the tool or not, is another thing, but they may tell you the Kent-Moore pin tool which you could purchase from them. It would be cheaper and easier if you could get the repair harness, honestly. Or, you could cut one off a vehicle at an auto salvage yard if you can find one. The wire colors would be on the wiring diagram in the factory service manual's Engine Control section. You could download that from the "knowledge base" at NissanHelp.com.
