Postby Pranit6 » Wed Nov 28, 2018 1:13 am

Helllo everyone,,,,

When i was driving when all of a sudden I heard a sound and the coolant stared gushing out.
Looks at its coming ShowBox Mobdro VidMate from the thermostat area also I hear a rattlins from what appears to be the water pump area.
Any thoughts of what I might have to look at?
And wat to do,..

I changed the hoses and thermostat on my 06 PF this summer..almost waited too long as the thermostat hose end had a crusty buildup of coolant. Suprised my hose didnt come off.

A leak at the thermostat wouldn't cause a rattle, but a bad water pump shaft bearing would. The pump, of course, is driven by the timing chain. There is a drain passage that allows leaking coolant from the water pump to exit on the driver's side of the engine.
