ECM Repair Services

Postby isricker » Tue May 28, 2019 11:53 am

I Have A nissan pathfinder (2006) And As I Was Driving Along Around 50mph, Everything Died. The Gauges, Blinkers, Lights, Etc Went Dead. The Motor Was Still Running, But The Accelerator Would Not Work. Pretty much every light on the dash was lit up, and I could only idle my way off the highway to a safe area. The error code returned was "P0643 Sensor Reference Voltage A Circuit High" Other error codes were returned, but I feel they cascaded as a result.

I am told the ECM has two electrical BUS sides...like an A and a B side. Each side is to produce 5 volts from what I am told. One side is fine. The other is only producing between 0.47 and 1.15 volts.

Are there any companies that repair ECMs? I would like to avoid spending several hundred dollars for a new ECM, plus even more money having a new ECM programmed for the vehicle.

Thanks all!

You might be able to find one in a junkyard or roll the dice with a company online.

Here's one I found - https://www.facebook.com/SiaElectronics

Can't vouch for them, but they seem legit. I don't have a FB so I can't look into comments or anything.
