Time for another one, and hello

Hello,

I've got a Nissan Titan right now and love my truck and now looking to add an 08 Pathfinder with the V8 in it to my garage. Just wondering if there is anything I should watch out for on these, been poking around and haven't found much other than need to the radiator bypass just like on the Titan, but other than that seems like these seem to be pretty solid and don't see anything about having to do a rear axle vent or anything else like I've had to do on my Titan.

So if there is anything I should look out for when we go to check this beast out, I'd appreciate it.

Also know they aren't the most fuel efficient, but trading in a VW Touareg, so pretty similar. I love the Touareg when it's right, but man that thing is a pain in the butt to get right and keep it right and the wife is tired of it.

Instead of the bypass most techs will recommend replacing the radiator with an aftermarket or the newer part numbers.

With eh bypass you do lose some transmission cooling.

The V8 Pathy is wesome I wish mine was a V8 !

Welcome! :D

The Pathfinder has an independent rear suspension, unlike your Titan. One thing to look out for, if it's a V6 model, is presence of a high-pitched whine from the front of the engine, which could be due to the upper timing chain(s) eating through the plastic tensioner faces. It doesn't happen to all, but enough that it is a well-known issue and somewhat costly repair.
