OVERCOOLING???

I believe my fan clutch is shot. My fan continuously rev matches my pathy's RPM's and never disengages. It is really loud, and killing my MPG. It seems to me that this would be my fan clutch, but I wanted a second opinion.

and if it is the fan clutch. I have found them from $40 to say $100ish. Should I go for the nicer one, or should I be okay with the $44 hayden part??

I would check it manually first. See if you can get it to engage and disengage. If not, its your clutch, otherwise it would be the fan control relay thats locked on.
