09 Pathfinder without rear camera, Nav integration possible?

Oh yeah, it's the geek bling with flashing lights, just can't get enough.

Yea, that's what they quoted me... I don't really care about the Audio...
I figured I would splice into the AUX jack...

Someone on these forums told me there is an RCA jack, so i was hoping to go that way. But it looks like this is the way to go... Kinda pricey...

im the one that previously posted the RCA jack.

just confirmed with the AV guys that installed if for me, they said they added it. it wasnt built in. it was spliced with the rear camera input and a relay with an on/off to switch between the two.

sorry for the confusion.

for audio, splice with the aux as u said, and u can control audio with steering wheel controls.

EDIT - i added a Garmin GVN nav, and a DVD without the TV2whatever thingy ur talking bout .

they just put in 2 relays and an on/off switch.

rear camera overrides whatever u have on screen (nav / dvd / nissan)

After removing the lower plastics around the shifter, how do you get the upper plastics off where the radio A/C is? I would like to see if I have the 2nd input.

I have a 2009 PF SE with everything except the navigation. Is there anything else that I need other than the GvN so I can see and hear my navigation on the PF video display?

I've got a 2010 SE with the Journey package, and I just purchased this item off of Ebay, http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... K:MEWNX:IT
After I put this in, I am going to add the GVN-53. I will takes pics with each install, and try to list parts used. I am planning on catching the aux input for audio and adding a set of aux audio and video inputs to be able to hookup other items.

I saw that on ebay, it's just like the TVANDNAV2GO kit. I've been researching how to build my own and save $200, but I might break down and just buy it...

curious to see the pics. thanks for being the Guinea-pig.

I see that guy has 8 left... hmmm

Nice. That is exactly what I'm looking for. Looking forward to your install writeup.

Also, I am planning on using the audio mute of the Garmin to trigger a set of relays to kill the factory amps and pipe the Garmin audio through the drivers front speaker. This should give me a very clean looking install, no external speaker or audio interference from the radio or other audio sources.

I received the switch from OTRATTW today.

I don't really care for it. I want something that looks more stock.
It does look cool, but not next to the OEM switch. I am gonna go to the local electronics store and see what that can get.

The switch does fit the hole nice, but it is like 1/16 larger all of the way around.

I got the Nav2go thing today...

I might need to use your pictures as a reference....

I have all the dash trim pieces removed, just trying to figure out how to pull the entire cluster out to hook up the wire harness up the the back of the screen.
