Hello all,
I have a mush loved pathy that i bought years ago from the wrecking yard.
It was hit in the front and looked to have tipped over.
I made all cosmetics look good and it has served me well. 50,000 miles and no real issues, (until now.)

My Auto trans is now acting confused... like it doesnt want to start in 1st gear.
It want to take off in 2nd or 3rd often.

I am bouncing around the idea of converting to manual.
Is this a good idea?
What is involved?

Thank you so much!

Don't know why it doesn't work, maybe something about the tranny cooler, many people have had problems and gotten aftermarket ones.
As for converting, depends on if you want to, auto is easier offroad but manual can give you more control if you know how to used your left foot in combo with your right. As for whats involved this guy did one... http://npora.ipbhost.com//index.php?sho ... ew=&hl="at to mt swap&fromsearch=1
