Off-Roading Trip That Went Horribly Wrong For One Guy

Postby richardekirby » Mon May 10, 2010 10:48 am

In April, my wife and I met some friends at General Sam's Off-Road Park just north of Huntville, Tx. It was a cool place and we were able to get the pathy into some mud. My friend brought a TRex that he had just picked up. It was a lot of fun.

Saturday evening we were headed back to camp when we came across some trucks playing in the mud pit. We stopped and watched for a while. It was going ok until this happened:

These are pictures of the aftermath:

Physically, no. Emotionally and financially, yes.

VERY good idea. I have been telling myself to have one in my vehicle; I still haven't done so. Gotta get one before it's too late...

I was in Lowes the other day and saw them. It was a little less than $20 tax and all. It came with a bracket that clips on at the top and has a strap around the bottom. I attached the bracket to the car plastic with a couple of screws. That hole works pretty good because it keep it out of the way and I can still fit my flashlight and a couple other things in there.
