It does pre-load the spring. It stiffened up the front end but in a good way. The ride is not harsh at all.Fossilfuleburner wrote:Thanks!! That's where I'll set mine at. Does this pre-load the spring to accomplish the lift? Did you notice a difference in ride quality for the front? I'm thinking it would not affect ride quality if the spring was a linear spring but would if it was a progressive spring.
Good to know that the OME gives it 2 1/2" in the rear... I need about 3/4" to make my rear match the Rancho fronts on mine. I have the Rancho Armada spacer on the rear of mine with stock springs. Do you want some spacers? I could use some OME springspawjr74 wrote:Here's the thread with the info on where to buy.

I just got back from a 1300 mile trip to Southern California and back and the new lift was awesome. It's a couple of inches higher so you get a little more floating sensation. (Nothing that feels out of control) Obviously it handle the bumps of the road better. I would definitely recommend it. I think I would go with the 4x4parts lift ( https://www.4x4parts.com/nissan/deluxe- ... -5843.html ) if I had to do it again. I was a little unhappy that the 1" OME springs lifted the rear 2 1/2 inches. An inch less would have been perfect.
