Escort 9500ix. Has GPS in it and redlight camera databases. GPS is for when you redlight cameras and when you pass a fixed/stationary radar (for example, those speed limit signs that also display your speed), after about 3 times you pass it, the radar will store that signal in its database. So, the 4th time that you pass that same speed sign, your detector will not go off unless there is another radar with a different frequency in that location. It really helps on the false alerts. I use to have a Valentine 1 and gave it up for the 9500ix. The newest one out there now is the Escort Redline. However, it does not have GPS capabilities. Remember, these are only radar detectors. If they are using instant-on or laser, then by the time you get hit, it may already be too late...that is, unless you consider upgrading to a laser jammer (such as the
Laser Inceptor).
