I was kind of thinking the same thing. It could even be a tad shorter, maybe just enough to clear the license plate. The only thing I would do differently would be adding horizontal light tabs instead of vertical. Oh, and welding a few of those bendable metal wire loom holders (kind of like a big black twist tie-found throughout engine compartments everywhere).mar1 wrote:if u can fabricate one with easy bolt on and off, id be ready to order
Thanks! Yeah I know its a mess mainly to much crap not enough space! I looked at those light bars awhile back, but if you noticed i like to make my own stuff when possible. Its bolted through two layers of steel in the lower bumper if you reach in the lower grill and grab the bottom bumper you'll notice it makes a "C" shape. The hardest part was drilling those holes. I only used the vertical tabs because my horzontal adapters were welded to my old rack. I do like the wire loom idea since i need to run some longer wires now because they are spaced farther apart. Yes, I will get better pics i just need batteries for my camera.NVSteve wrote:I think someone needs to clean their shop
Seriously, great job! Similar to these. What do you have it mounted to?

Lots of ideas floating through my mind, but no way for me to visually convey any of them since I lack any artistic skill whatsoever.
Could you possibly post a higher resolution version of the last pic?
Thanks! I wish i had time to fab a couple and sell them i would love that!mar1 wrote:nice work.

Thanks! I guess i could run the wires inside if i drilled some holes and went wire fishing its doable. I'm running 265/75/16's, but i would take some 285's!mar1 wrote:looking good, the bottom side of the bumper is very nice with the new color.
maybe for ur next fab, you could find a way of running the wires inside the pipe, easier to conceal.
oh, and u need to get some wider tyres.
