let Nissan worry bout the radiators fuel senders and IPDM issues.
Its funny you say that because i just bought an out of warrenty Path and after doing the bypass I hope to avoid any major issues!

BTW do you think its the heat in Dubai that is causing your low brake life?

For aftermarket I would try EBC ultimex (<--might be spelled wrong)

dont know but i dont think so. i think its mostly driver error :D

a lot of people seem to be getting similar mileage here or a bit better.
maybe lousy pads are just a quick buck for the dealership.

I feel for you... I rear-ended someone earlier this year as well (unfortunately deemed my fault too but really caused by a reckless driver cutting in front of me then out again leaving me nowhere to go...).

I completely agree that the factory brakes are inadequate for the R51, and I've upgrade to EBC rotors and pads all 'round. Yellow stuff pads in the back and green stuff pads in the front. They are definitely better, though I still feel the front brakes need to be bigger. The next step will be upgrading the front to AP Racing big brakes (http://www.stillen.com/product.asp?id=APBRKIT4P&c=BR).

It also seems like there just isn't enough cooling for the front brakes either so I may try to fab up some cooling ducts...
