Just a quick question to those who have installed an aftermarket cd player. I just got a Kenwood x494 deck with the correct aftemarket wiring harness. Silly question but gotta ask...are the harnesses direct plug in as I received 2 in my kit. Is there crimping involved as I imagine there is with the loose plug in with wires coming off the end that attaches to the deck first.

Most likely you have to crimp the wires together between the 2 harnesses that you received. then it will be a direct plug in.
