Clay Bar

I now swear by using a clay bar before polishing for that show room shine. Lots of clay bar postings on youtube.

As a clay bar lube, I use Demon Shine.

I use car wash soap and water. Same as I use to clean the car. That's what body shops used before the public found out about it.

I'll second the benefits of a clay bar. I've found the clay bar kit from Meguiar's is sufficient for my use. Can use soapy water as a lubricant or the spray wax that comes with the kit.

Don't forget to clay bar the windows and headlights too.
