debris build-up in factory mud flaps?

Postby HuskerPath » Wed Apr 06, 2011 9:35 am

I have a very stock 2006 Pathfinder and I get a lot of debris collected and built up in the little well behind the factory mud flaps. (These are the little ones in front of the rear wheels.)

I assume others have experienced this so my question is what can/should be done about it? It is sometimes quite a chore to get it all cleaned out at the carwash. Help! :D

Canadian models don't have them.

That area and the rocker panels look prone to rusting in the future.

In the rear wheel well, front area, you can see what looks like metal overlapping.

I think in Canada you get them if you get a trim level with roof cross bars...SE/LE....I think you get heated mirrors instead on S's
