I have the same rack and love it. I took off the faring on the front and gained about 2 mpg. there is a little bit of wind noise at times but it is not noticeable most times. _________________ 08 Pathfinder 4x4, Red Brawn

Wow, so you were getting roughly 11-13MPG with the faring on? I only get 13-15 without any sort of rack. _________________ 2010 SE 4x2 Silver Lightning |

You do not notice it as much around town. I am getting about 15-16 around town (depending on how heavy my foot is). On the highway is where you really notice it. on a 110 mile trip to my in-laws house up in the ridges I averaged 20mgp for the first time in a good while. I was getting about 13.5-14.8 city and about 17-18 on the highway. I was honestly surprised at the difference that 6 inch piece of plastic made. _________________ 08 Pathfinder 4x4, Red Brawn
