08 Bose Rear Sub???

Postby 1armyguy » Tue Aug 16, 2011 7:44 pm

Hello All. I just purchased my 08 SE with the Bose system and the rear subs are not working. Has anyone had this problem before and can give me some ideas as to what to look for and/or what the fix is?

Thanks for the help

yeah i have the 08 and mine blew out after about 2 years. changed under warranty.

sorry if this may sound stupid, but i've seen people make this mistake before.
are you sure that the audio is not muted for the rear speakers? check the fade level and make sure its not turned to only front speakers.

Thanks for the information. Yeah, the first thing I checked was the fade. I was thinking the same thing. I figured if it was blown it would make some kind of aweful noise but, it's not doing anything like it's not getting any power

Got it figured out and fixed. It was a bad 15amp fuse. Picked some up and changed it. Works and sounds GREAT now. :D
