We actually modified the "smuggler" box under the rear seat with a steel locking box (kind of like the www.tuffyproducts.com) boxes to hold valuables (ie money) when on road trips.

I keep a Glock 27, 1 spare mag, and a LED flashlight in the top box.

I keep my documents in the bottom box, this way if I get pulled over I don't have have to dig around of my documents in the same box with a gun.

Haven't used the smuggler's box yet, but I like the idea of putting a tow strap in there. As for my jumper cable, I cant find any good place to store them - they are just thrown in the back.

Got my jumpers wrapped in a towel behind the second row seatbacks (there's no recess anywhere big enough to hold 'em), along with my 12V air pump, serious racing tire gauge, and the styro cooler I use when carrying frozen stuff home from the big box store. The built-in factory cubbies just don't do anything for me.

I don't own a handgun (although I probably should), so the smaller spaces in my PF are wasted.

You need to do the flip-up-for-3rd-row-access move on the 2nd row seat, so the frame comes up with it, then you can get to that storage box. Incidentally that's where I stash my jumper cables & big mag-lite/bear-club.

And damn if we haven't collected a bunch of gun owners on the form lately. Being a native and resident Californian I rarely get to bring up shooting sports, let alone where I hide my Glock

Hey I'm in Kentucky -- nothing wrong w/ having a Glock here. You don't need any permit at all to keep it in the Glove box (although I do have my CCDW permit, I wouldn't need it in the truck). All you need to keep a handgun in the glove box here is to be 18 or older (21 to buy a handgun, 18 to have one), not a felon, and not have a mental illness record.

I keep my tow strap under the rear seats in that little box, I can wedge it in there.

Wow! I'm originally from Tennessee and had no idea KY doesn't require a permit. 'Course, the mental illness record thing would prolly eliminate about 60% of us anyhow . . .

In CA, oh boy, don't get me started. Well, that's too late, so let's start a new thread on guns and not hijack this one... http://www.thenissanpath.com/viewtopic.php?p=5378
