Anderson Dam, Mountain Home Idaho

Postby volvite » Sun Oct 16, 2011 4:29 pm

Well I had only been home from Afghanistan about 4 days and took my wife and son on a good little trip with the pathfinder. Needed to get outdoors and see the good old USA. Hope you like the pics.

Nice area, thanks for the pics. Not sure how long you've been in ID, but I'd guess your son would think Craters of the Moon is pretty cool. I know I did at that age (and still do).

Thanks. My son is only 2, but the wife and I are planning to go there this week, or possibly next week on my time off. I've only been in Idaho almost 2 years, but love the outdoors and lovebeing stationed here.

Thanks. It sure does. Love coming home and seeing the USA. It was a good sight to see on my flight from Europe to BWI to finally look out the window and see lights on the eastern seaboard. It sure was exciting.

No problem. Glad you enjoyed them. Like NVSteve mentioned, I'll be hitting up Craters of the Moon national park later this week. Not sure what all is there, but it will be another adventure.
