colorado snow + pathy = stuck heh

Postby doctahjones » Thu Feb 23, 2012 12:27 pm

went to co for some snowboarding. got like 8 inches of snow over night...thought i could make it out without having to re-snowblow, which i probably could have, but i'm at stock height with stock tires (fronts actually need to be replaced).

so at the end of the driveway of my buddy's cabin there's a big 'hump' that you need to get a bit of speed to go over to get to the main road, and this day i didn't quite go fast enough. so i started backing up to give it another go. problem was that i was distracted with the other 2 guys in the car and i didn't realize i wasn't backing up straight back into my tracks. by the time i realized this we were already 1/2 on the slope on the side of the driveway. it was all over after that. had to dig us out since i got us stuck, and the other guys snowblowed the drive again while i was digging.

Neither of those pictures are good. Hate to see Pathfinders stuck.
