Calling all tire experts...need help please :)

I have a 2001 Pathfinder. I bought 20 inch rims with tires from cl awhile ago. Nice rims, shitty tires. Got a flat shortly after I bought them and just rode out the stocks. Now it's time to get new tires. My stocks have Bridgestone Dueler's (which I have fallen inlove with). My question is this..will 275/55R20 A/T tires give me enough clearance ? I'm not a fan of low profile looking SUV/truck tires. I want as big as I can get but also need to stay safe (I have kiddos). Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks! :D

People have fit larger (taller & the same width) with no lift. It all depends on offset and width of your wheels. I'd say some small trimming, but that's a given.
