Brake Rotors

Postby dawgn86 » Mon Jun 04, 2012 9:18 am

Hi guys

starting to feel a little vibration while braking. 06 Path / 100k miles, second set of front brake pads. I was going to take the rotors and have them turned and wanted to ask if they just slide off after you take off the tire and brake caliper? or do you have to have to remove the entire hub?

Never had them turned and cant remember the set up.

Thanks

Thanks deer

I think what I meant to ask was do you have to undo th axle nut and slide the rotor off with the bearing, etc still in?

Mine took a little convincing with a hammer to bust loose the rust on the ID of the rotor.

unless I missed something, I took off the brake caliper and the bracket too to get the rotor off today...simple and quick though...had the front rotors turned and new ceramic brake pads..tomorrow, tires rotated and balanced
