Painted Running Boards and Splash Guards

Postby phrozeinglass » Wed Sep 19, 2012 7:10 am

So I finally finished painting some trim pieces on my Pathy... Painted the running boards, splash guards, and license plate bracket. Let me know what you think!

The side steps look fantastic in all black!

Nice. That looks really good. I like the blacked out look. Now you just need to paint the roof rack and the rims.

Thanks guys! I personally love it but was curious what everyone else thought. I think I will do the roof rack next. Painting everything took me a lot more time than expected and many cans of paint...

the mudgaurds might crack if you didn't have flex additive in the paint. I like the look.

I prefer the no running board look, but also think that your pathfinder looks better with the running boards painted black than had you kept the OEM gray. Nice job!
