For exhaust I decided not to go with any exh. headers.
for 1 I have cert pre owned warranty till 105,000 miles,
and there is alot of work envoleved. and for maybe 10 more hp's
at least the way I did it is still dealer passable, I never had any issues at the dealer.
Since all the mods I performed on my exhaust system...
I did it in this order.
1- Gutted the Primery cats.
2- Stainless Steal high flow 2ndery B Pipes, with O2 sensor defuser relocators, which work great with no CEL's
3 - From there I went with 2 1/4 inch ss pipes
4 - Dual in, Single out Flowmaster big block series 70 suv muffler,
and 2 1/2 inch ss Tail pipe end hidden behind rear bumper.
kind of factory stealthy look.
So everything was kept as a factory design just larger diameter piping.
had this setup for 8 months.
Then I decided to change the flowmaster muffler to Magnaflow Muffler.
Found flowmaster to be to loud. Did alot of reading and from others doing Dyno testing on titan pickups was found that Magnaflow gives better power gains. Regular driving is much quieter, and flooring it gives nice deep note but not as loud as the flowmaster.
and no I didnot use any resonators in both setups.
Maybe in flowmaster it would make it more melow, but what is the point when Magnaflow sounds better and performes better, and its also 2 in, 1 out oem setup.
Just my 2 cents from trying out both ways, maybe ill save others from doing it twice like I did.
