2007- I Swapped Bose for new Pioneer w/Aux, USB & Blueto

Postby brithomps » Sat Apr 13, 2013 4:34 pm

Really happy so far. Swapped the factory Bose radio for a new Pioneer with Aux, USB, and Bluetooth. Now I have modern audio/Bluetooth technology... hands free cell use and streaming audio for $400 + tax, installed. People I talk to on Bluetooth say it's loud, clear and not much backround noise. Microphone is mounted externally just to the left side of the drivers map light, away from the windshield to reduce noise.

Glad this site exists, thanks everyone.

While im not the original poster I will load some pictures of my system when I get the car back from the shop, mine is a Pioneer AVH-P8400BH. Sounds better than the bose system. Im still using the factory speakers and such but it sounds and looks great. I have a folder of images I need to actually post for my installation writeup... I'll get around to it sometime...
