Can anyone tell me how to add automatic headlights to a 2012 Pathfinder?

I don't believe this would be an inexpensive upgrade. Just from my limited knowledge, you would have to buy the light sensor, the wiring kit and a new turn signal/light switch. It might be possible, but not sure it would be worth it.

The only thing you need is mechanical knowledge on taking the top and lower half of the steering column. The switch comes out (headlight) and you pop in the new one with auto on it. No other harnesses or relays needed (just check on ipmd that all relays and fuses are in place). I did this on my 08 pathfinder S. The only difference is i had a bad clock spring so I had to buy the complete combination switch cluster.

Man after writing all this just realized how old this thread is.

Anyone done this project successfully? We'll be working on buddy's 2012 Pathfinder right after we finished installing the rack and tonneau cover for the kayak mount on the current truck project. He's a huge fan of auto headlight on his brother's Chrysler 300.
