Looks fine to me. You going to add 2 on there, one on each end? Comes in handy if you're buried in snow on one side, but not the other and since you've got the material, might as well go with 2.

Yeah, I'm going to take some measurements and make two, anyone know the bolt size? I just don't want to thread a new hole

Also if someone wants to measure it all for me that would be great. We just got like 3 feet of snow and the temp is -25 C

Distance between holes
Size of holes
Length on hole in bumper front to Barack
Distance from frame to bumper hole

Bolts are 12-1.25x50, or even 65mm work too.

The OEM hook has slotted holes for easier fitment, might wanna do that for adjustability.

I gave my hook away, if not I'd take measurements for you.

Cutting them from steel should work.

I had to remove my stock hook when I mounted my bull bar. I really didn't like the idea of not having a front tow hook, so I ended up mounting some cheap hooks I found at harbor freight that look like the black hooks you put a picture of. I have not had to use them yet, but they are there in case I do need them.

Where did you mount them? On the inside of the arms for the bull Bar?

So I finished my recovery points. Made is 1/2 inch industrial angle. Made the ends a but big for taking a bashing, only sticks down a very small amount more than the skid plate. Let me know what you think. Have to find the right bolts still though.

So I just ordered 4 bolts from nissan for this. For the life of me I could not find bolts to fit anywhere. But they will be here Wensday morning so it's all good. I'll throw up a few pics once I get them installed.
