I was kind of worried about replacing the stock 4 ply General Grabber P245/75R16's with 10 ply Michelin LTX MS 235/85R16 tires on this PF as it's a fairly light truck but the ride is great both on highway and off at 45 PSI with no additional noise, good corning feel and no wandering on pavement. The stock suspension takes out most of the roughness and slow speed bumps are smoothed out rather than being harsh. Maybe not a SoCal look but narrower heavily siped tires are recommended for northern winter ice and hard packed highway snow.
