Biggest Tire

Hey guys i did a quick search and couldnt find anything but i have a 2005 pathfinder LE and i was wondering what the largest size mud or all terrain tire can be on the stock setup.

285-60 - ? I believe with stock suspension.

I think its for a 16" rim. That tire would be very wide.

For a 17" rim a 265/75 is about he biggest you can go. its = to a 31/10.50

serturbo i calculated a 265/75 - 17 to have 32.6 diameter not a 31

I'm sorry I miss typed a 265/70r17 is a 31x10.5.
This is the biggest I wold go with out gear changing with the V6

Not sure about 2008 & beyond, but 2005-2007s have the speedo adjusted (correct reading) for a 32" tire. The gearing is fine, and I've been wondering if it is also based on a 32" tire.

I was thinking 265/75/16 Firestone Destination M/T and i was thinking about purchasing the Dick Cepek DC-1 in black in 16 x 8 bc i have the black LE

however do any of you guys know which 16 x 8 will work with this set up?
and i believe from what you guys have been telling me this tire will work on the pathy.
