normal to me. Lowest is 16, then jumps to 19 with .5 increments for Canadian models.kev1n wrote:I have a LE with the automatic climate control. What I have noticed is that the system skips from 85 to 90, no increments of 86,87,88 etc .
Is this normal operation or is something wrong with my system ?
I don't know, but what i do know is i've never seen one actually accurate.. I used to charge AC systems and would check the temp at the vents.. Some times they would be set at 65* and blowing 55* temps. My guess would be its more or less just a guide to get you ballpark temps.kev1n wrote:thanks for the replies, anyone understand the logic behind this setup ? Why would they set it up like this ?
You beat me to it. That's why I can't stand my office during the summer. It can be 100 degrees out, but set the thermostat to 69 and out pumps frigid 50F air until the 69F is reached. I actually quite enjoy the thermostat settings on the PF-it works real well once the desired temp is reached.G35TR wrote: It's confusing, until you realize that the temp setting IS NOT the temperature of the air coming out, but instead the desired cabin temperature.
