Daytime Running Lights

Postby Basherdrummer » Mon Apr 28, 2014 1:28 am

I need someone to supply and fit Daytime Running Lights on my 2008 PF.
I live in Kent but travel with work all over the uk so am after a recommendation of what my options are style wise and who might do the job for me as I'd rather not do it myself, my local dealer is useless so am after some advice please chaps?
Many thanks in anticipation.

Barry.

Do I presume nobody has fitted DRL's?

Not likely. Most people try to get rid of them on cars in US. They are required in Canada so perhaps look at what is different on their cars vs yours.

Do you have fog lights? You could wire them to come on with the ignition I suppose.

Agreed. In fact, the VW forum has a very popular how-to on deactivating DRLs.

Here's a good thread from an Explorer forum on adding DRLs. Seems straightforward: http://www.explorerforum.com/forums/sho ... p?t=211663
