Performed on a 2008 Pathfinder LE V8 4WD.
Things to note before you start:
-Estimated time to complete: 30-45min
-Fluid Capacity 3.75 pints (1.9 US quarts)
-Fluid Type: 75w-90 Synthetic GL-5 Gear Oil
-You shouldn't need to lift your pathfinder to complete this, however, you should have the car on level ground.
-Fluid doesn't have to be hot/warm but will drain smoother and possibly get a touch more out then if cold.
Getting Started:
1: Locate your fill and drain Plug

2: Remove the FILL PLUG first.

3: Remove the Drain Plug.

4: Allow fluid to drain until there is just a slow drip or has completely stopped.

5: Wipe off Drain plug. (there will be some gunk on the plug as it is magnetic, this is normal, just wipe clean to look like picture)

6: Remove old washers from the drain and fill plugs and replace with new washers (you can reuse the old washers however, I am replacing mine and would suggest the same as its only a couple bucks)

7: Once fluid has stopped draining. Insert Drain plug and tighten
8: Start Pumping fluid into the fill hole. (I use a standard hand pump you can find at almost any local auto part store.)

9: Once the fluid has started to come back out the fill hole then the differential is full, remove the tube and insert the fill plug and tighten.
10: Clean up any mess you have made. You are complete.[/b]
