Ebay fog light kit

Postby roly » Sat Aug 09, 2014 6:57 pm

Decided to purchase an ebay fog light out for my 2010 S for $36 which included a new harness and switch that goes into one of the knockouts. I also decided to wire it to my parking lights so that I could use them w/o the headlights. With the exception of having drill out the holes slightly larger to use the factory tabs, the install was pretty straight forward. It did not come with instructions but will give it a 5 out of 10 on the difficulty range scale, all in all, it took me about 2hrs to complete. I did opt to purchase Optilux extreme yellow halogens just to compliment my 5000k hids.

Nice job. If you didn't know any better, it looks factory.

I would gone for the factory stalk and used the existing wires which were already there, but $36 was easier to give up than $140.

I didnt go with a factory switch in either my pathy or my altima for the same reason, those factory stalks are HUGE money.

Fogs look great! The parking light trigger is great, never leave them on accidentally

Not too worried as i really only use my lights at night, so it would be visible and with that annoying light on reminder..... My 240sx stalk was only $50, was hoping around the same for the PF, but no dice.
