help locating connector for power shocks?

Postby r3dplanet » Fri Oct 05, 2012 8:53 pm

Hi there.

I have a 1995 Pathfinder SE that I've recently bought as the second owner. It's my third Pathfinder. This vehicle has virtually every option according to the original bill of sale. One thing, all four shocks were all non-Nissan units that were incredibly stiff.

Originally, this Pathfinder had the power adjustable shocks. So I bought a set of four shocks and had them installed. Mostly anyway. The mechanic called up to say that he couldn't find the front drivers electrical connector.

I've poked around and can't find it either. Can someone show a photo or describe where the connector is supposed to be? Or where it begins so I can trace it?

Thanks!

Mine has different ones in the front (the rear has the adjustable and they STILL work awesome), and the conectors are on wires just hanging there in the wheel well. maybe somebody had disconnected those from the truck at some point. Ill get a picture for you tomorrow. I want to get the adjustables but last time I checked they were 200 bucks each. If you got them for cheaper, how?

Hopefuly you can get to that. Sorry it took so long. But you can see its just a connector hanging down at the top of the shock, it may be covers by plastic dust panels or something, which have fallen apart on mine.
