I have to imagine that converting a 5 seater to 7 would be far more costly than just trading yours in on another. I'd guess no one has attempted this.

What year do you have? I wasn't aware any R51's were made as 5-seaters.

Not positive of your location (Australia?) but regardless I can't see where ANY 2005+ Pathfinders were made without the 3rd row. A quick search shows all of them in Australia have the 3rd row and I know all in the US. I'd be curious to see what your 5-pax PF looks like in the rear...if you could post pics. I would think you could do a retrofit fairly easily if we're talking the exact models that otherwise have the 3rd row.

are they OEM storage boxes, or has someone removed the 3rd row seats and put in the storage boxes?

tough to say
i'm wondering if the storage boxes are mounted by the same anchor holes that the seats would be mounted to
funny, i have no use at all for my third row of seats, but would love to have some well-arranged storage boxes instead
i'd very much like to see a picture of the storage box arrangement
BTW: welcome to the forum! :)
