Its the stock grill. I just cut out the factory honey comb and replaced it with wire mesh. then painted the chrome on it black. if you search clubfrontier for "grill mod" or something similiar theres tons of thread on doing it.

Where are you mounting the lights? what K bulb are you using? and what kind of lighting are you looking for? long range? or just to brighten up whats right in front of you? I've been using ddm kits for a few years now. Have them on my headlights and fogs for the past year on my pathy. The ballasts for my fogs are covered in dirt/mud. They have been submerged in water quite a few times and still have no problems. My current hellas have a ddm kit. Ill have pics of how i have them mounted tomorrow when i pull thr grill off.
I'm installing them in the narrow opening below the grill, thanks to a bracket I bought from Fangars. I think I ordered the 4500k bulbs, which should work in concert with my 4300k low beams. If the ddmtuning kit works out okay, I'll get another one for the high beams. I'm just looking for good solid light. My lowbeams are great now, but I have still found that more is needed offroad. Hard to explain, but hopefully I'll have everything to my liking after playing around with a few options.

Do you have aftermarket headlamps? You make mention of high and low beams. The pathfinder has a single dual filament bulb. Just wondering what aftermarket headlamps you went with.

I have the ones from carid.com. The halo is a bit blingy for my tastes & the low beam cutoff isn't 100% perfect, but I do like them better than the OEM lights.

Nice. I have yet to find any projector headlamps that will fit the 08-11 style lamps. From my understanding they are just a bit different than the 05-07 headlamps.

I edited my first post with a few more better pics of the bracket i used. Theres quite a few ways to go about doing it. I found the way I did it easier.

Thanks for the updated pictures. Did you have to take your grill back off to take them? I hope not.

I did the same conversion about 2 years ago. I used the Hella 5000's & a Grillcraft mesh replacement. I did wire them into my high beams.
Last Saturday night I went over Sonora pass on Highway 108 in CA st 11:30 p.m. They made all the difference. Since the stock hightbeams suck, these made it possible to see on a really dark road.
I highly recomend the change.
