Pathy running rough! How can I replace the injector.

Postby elcid » Fri May 14, 2010 9:31 pm

Hi guys.

My pathy started running rough this morning. First thing I checked was the ECU. It read code 51. Injector circuitry.

Next, I OHM the injectors that are easily accessible ( my pathy is 1994 xe v6 ) The first one, I could not get a reading but the other two read 014 OHMS. I assume its a good reading?

Since I could not get a ohm reading on the first injector, am I correct to say the injector need replacement? Also, I am thinking of going to the junk yard and ohm a few injectors and take them out. Save some $$$ since money a little tight.

Please let me know guys.

First of all, what is it doing,Second of all check the Fuel filter and the hose for the fuel pressure regulator.I know that if the house for the fuel pressure regulator is broke/missing the pathfinder will run like crap. Its a little house on the rear or the intake(next to the firewal) if you dont see a hose there then thats your problem. But change the fuel filter as well,if its never been changed all the better reason to do so.

for a WD21 (87-95) pathfinder I recommend going here:
