Not sure if you guys had seen this from ASFIR, a very neat spare wheel carrier:

Also full skid plates: http://www.asfir.com/customize/?maker=3 ... egory=2135

How about heavy duty front bumper+winch: http://www.asfir.com/customize/?maker=3 ... egory=2454

I had seen this stuff before but on an australian site. What I'm most interested in would be a combo of the external spare wheel carrier coupled with an auxillary 100l fuel tank that mounts where the tire was.

Check them out: http://www.michaelis-tuning.de

They claim to have a 130lt tank upgrade for the Navara D40 2.5 turbodiesel, could probably fit the Pathy V6 with minor mods, too.
cheers

I guess you would need a new fuel pump with that gas tank, plus stiffer rear suspension, since that is a lot of weight in fuel. It would be great for the long trips.

They have both the spare tire carrier, and a 110lt auxiliary tank that mounts where the spare tire was located!

Yea man. I found a link to those guys a few months ago on PCOA's board. Would be a wicked setup I think.
