87 pathy engine lag

Postby CamboKi » Thu May 28, 2009 4:17 pm

My engine will give a slight hiccup will criusing at different speeds. Usually happens on the highway going 65 or give around town. It almost feels like bad gas but ive gone through four tanks of gas and it still occurs. This is my first pathfinder and my first car so i don't have any previous experience with this issue.

I had a similar problem with the hiccups that eventually included my Pathfinder dying at stop lights and refusing to start occasionally. I thought it was a fuel problem at first but came to find out it was a loose connection going to a ground strap for the ignition. Unfortunately it was pretty hard to diagnose this problem until the engine failed, which was intermittant.
