100,000 miles!

Postby BMXPath » Thu Oct 01, 2009 6:47 am

I turned 100k yesterday on my Pfinder.

It was 3 years ago this month, that I bought it with only 16,400 miles.

My warranty is now gone. Oh well, I didnt think I would make it 3 years with the warranty anyway, as much as I like driving.

Anyone else close to, or already passed, the 100K mark?

Did you ever approach any major engine, or mechanical problems on your way to 100k?

Nothing major yet. I have used Mobil 1 oil since I bought it and have changed it every 5,000 miles.
I had the tranny flushed once and have replaced the diff fluid with Mobil 1 also.
At about 95k, I noticed that the belt tensioner pulley was getting a bit sloppy and I replaced it. I got one at the local auto parts store for about $20.

I love it more now than the day I drove it home.

Good luck to you, I take great care of mine too. Matter of fact, it is cleaner now than the day I bought it!
