2002, manual, 76K miles

Postby MichiganMan » Sun Aug 23, 2009 11:52 am

Hello all, I'm in the market for a used SUV and have been shopping various makes and models, primarily the full-size domestics and just lately the Toyota 4runner. I came across a Nissan Pathfinder, 2002, with the 3.5 and manual trans. It has 76K miles on it and the guy is asking $7900.

Trying to get a feel on how these trucks and specifically the powertrain holds up. I'll be using it primarily as my commuter, with two kids (8 and 5) as regular passengers, plus towing a small aluminum boat and possibly a sled trailer in the winter.

However, the majority of the time will be commuting in Michigan, where we have been known to get a bit of the white stuff. Any insight would be appreciated!

I bought that car and love it! Engine light popped on two days later but all checked out ok.
